The 1000pts format in Warhammer 40000 is the most fun and strategically interesting.

Wow, it's been a long time!

Today, I'm sending you a much longer email than usual to talk to you about our 1000pt games and our new collection.

After playing all of V8 and V9 in 2000pts following the WTC format, my friends and I, we were fed up to sometimes spend up to 8 hours for a game (yes! we are not big players! ^^).

We could no longer bear to follow all the rule changes, FAQs, Dataslate, etc. As a result, we didn't play many games anymore and sometimes none at all in 3 months...

And this despite the pleasure we were having, but it was becoming really annoying... (even a purge).

And then one day, we said to ourselves "Come on! We don't care, we'll play in 1000pts and we'll even try other game formats" and it was the best!

Since then, we swear by this format and the number of games per month has exploded!

Sometimes we replay a game in WTC mode, but where we laugh the most it's the scripted game, or playing with the mission cards (and sometimes even those of V8) but above all the END OF MONTH BEAM (after a month of working, getting into each other's faces with no other objective than the clean slate , it's great!)

And to be honest, now we play with 3 players and 1000 points and it's still cooler, funnier and above all even faster (in turn 3, the clean slate is felt ^^).

It's true that the game is becoming less balanced, but in a good way. It becomes more tactical, more edgy and so much funnier. (especially when you take out a primarch or the silent king in 1000pts, it's nonsense!)

…and I’m not even talking about alliances and betrayals!

In short, I decided to launch a new range of Battle Mats for this format.
